“Tattoo” is sprung from the urgent and mad creativity of grunge, when you couldn’t distinguish music from fashion, as they were so hand in hand. All-time bound braking musical pioneers Nirvana and Pearl Jam in the early nineties: the youthful style of “low” style into “high” fashion that became an era-defining look.
But there is also an innate elegance to the rawness, a sense of discrimination that developed into a sophisticated point of view. Stripe your nails and tattoo your skin in the name of Leigh Bowery and Boy George. And there you have it; the music, the politic, and the freedom of expression. The sum of it all, that’s the look of the Tattoo-girl.
Lite kul att de refererar till mina tonårsfavoriter Nirvana. Jag levde Grunge fullt ut, min drömkille skulle ha långt hår, getskägg och massor med tatueringar. Blev väl inte riktigt så, dessutom var det ju bra att jag fattade att utseendet var det minst viktiga när det kommer till relationer.
När jag var tonåring hade jag fet eyelinervinge, mamma tyckte jag såg hemsk ut förstås men det ska ju mammor göra. Jag gillar looken ovan, riktigt cool! Hörde dessutom att sleeven är handmålad på modellen, riktigt snyggt. Synd att de små tatueringar som kommer med i kollektionen inte alls påminner om grunge?

Tatueringarna känns helt klart o-grungeiga och lite oanvändbara. Hur ofta går man runt med fejktatueringar som vuxen? I övrigt är det en fin kollektion! :)

Hmm, Grunge? En kollektion som denna är för ”fixad” för det enligt mig! Rock kanske ja, men var inte grunge mer… skitigt liksom, och rått?
Hur som helst så är jag nyfiken på den fina skuggfärgen, och har inte oväntat en svag punkt för döskallarna ;)
Nej, grunge? Inte direkt känner jag… Däremot var sleeven väldigt fin!
